Here is a wide view of “Bonsai Rock” in Crescent City under heavy fog. This is one of my favorite places on the west coast, and you will see it in many of the Cascadia images. Here, the reason for the nickname is visible at the top of the largest rock form. The tree on the left is a block away from the studio in Ashland.
