The premiere of NUDE by Greeley Wells, a short film in which ten artists and models discuss their relationship with the nude in their artwork.
NUDE is my most recent film, a short film of 17 minutes. It is a rich exploration of the human form in art. Ten Ashland artists including models discuss their art processes, the muse, and some of the problems society seems to have with the nude. The artist’s way of seeing the human form is truthful, concentrated, without stigma, and suggests that deep clear seeing like this could be a solution to some other problems in our world. The score, written by Jeff Pevar, adds to the humanity and beauty of the NUDE.
